Oil sales in June FY25 increased by 8.0% in annual shift and 2.0% of months in months (MOM), driven by the expectations of local prices in the middle of world oil prices – largely due to the conflict in the Middle East – as well as the increase in demand for electrical networks. The exchange of captive energy due at high gas prices has contributed to a larger production of electricity based on FO.
On a monthly basis (MOM), MS Offtake increased by 5.0% to 0.73 million tonnes in June 25 FY – marking a 36 -month summit.
FO sales in June amounted to 0.13 million tonnes, up 62% in annual sliding. However, HSD sales fell 8.0% mom, probably due to the conclusion of the harvest season.
On an annual comparison, petroleum marketing companies (WTO) posted an increase of 8.0% of June sales, reaching 1.57 million tonnes. This growth is awarded to increased demand following a reduction in prices of MS and HSD, a drop in smuggling oil smuggling from Iran and an increase in sales of cars.

Among the listed companies, Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) recorded sales of 132,000 tonnes in June 2025, up 2.0% in annual sliding, but down 4.0% MOM, mainly due to a 20% drop in HSD sales.
