Pakistan to export its workforce to the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia Blogging Sole

ISLAMABAD: Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a department under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD), is set to export skilled and unskilled manpower including healthcare professionals, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain. .

An official source said APPLICATION that healthcare professionals with the following prescribed qualifications and experience can apply for the jobs.

It said that interested job seekers must have a Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent from an accredited institution (essential), completed by HIMAA, ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS — Training Course introduction (essential), minimum of 4 years of study. Job-related experience or insurance claims processor/auditor in a healthcare facility or similar insurance company (essential).

Applicants must be under 50 years old. Both men and women can apply for a job.

For the construction sector, the OEC is collecting documents from interested candidates across the country until December 18, 2024.

The source said the OEC already exports skilled labor to 40 countries around the world.

He said interested candidates could apply for the following positions.

Laboratory Manager (LM), with BSc Engineering/B-Tech/Graduation/DAE Civil; minimum 15 years of experience with 5 years of relevant experience.

The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for the management of laboratory personnel (LS) and laboratory-related activities. He is expected to supervise LS, ensure the safety of daily laboratory and field operations, and provide a safe working environment for anyone using the laboratory.

He will also guide and supervise laboratory and field personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Laboratory technician with 3 years of associate engineering degree or at least a college diploma in the scientific field. They will be responsible for testing materials like concrete, aggregates, soil, asphalt, blocks, etc.

Candidates are required to submit/attach the deposited bank challan of Rs1000/- for the post of Medical Professional or Laboratory Manager and Rs500/- for the post of Laboratory Technician, generated during online application submission.
