The United Nations is trying to provide humanitarian aid to nearly three million people in need of help in Syria after the fall of former President Bashar al-Assad’s ruthless regime. Cindy McCain, executive director of the United Nations World Food Program, spoke to “Face the Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan about these efforts.
Most Western countries, including the United States, have designated Hayat Tahrir al-Sham as a terrorist organization.
